Poplar Pavilion 2017
Created by a small team of artists and architects, this was an experiment and conversation piece about the impact of the built environment on our wellbeing. Constructed over 5 months it was located by the entrance to Chrisp Street Market, London E14. Designed to be in a constant state of flux, its design was informed and changed by community use. Over its lifespan it became the focus for dozens of formal and informal encounters, performances and workshops.
This film captures its final days and its role as a focal point for the local community.
